2 / 26 / 2018 TRAIL REPORT

We got about 2 inches of new snow Sunday afternoon. Groomers went out Sunday night and whipped trails into shape. Need to be careful as some waterholes are starting to open up and conditions can change very fast. There is still plenty of good riding to be had , trails with a lot of traffic will be beat up at the end of the day, not much we can do about that. Lets hope this storm on Friday moves in land and dumps on us. Enjoy and ride safe.

Trails are changing fast out there, so please stay off if at all possible until temps cool down. The lake has a lot of slush on it this morning. Wet areas on trails will be opening up so watch for hazards until we get more cold and snow to fill them in. I know its vacation week but riding trails in these warm conditions could ruin them for the season so PLEASE stay off till it turns cold again , Thank you .

Lets all be doing some snow dancing , weather is warm but a little snow Saturday night into Sunday morning will help. We will be grooming as temperatures allow, cant do much if snow is slush. This will be the second year vacation week has been warm . Lets hope weather pattern changes back to winter. Look out for hazards as trails can change very quickly, and remember traffic will be heavy and not everyone is an expert rider . Stay on your side in corners and stay in control at all times . We want everyone to enjoy Rockwood and Moosehead

TRAIL REPORT 2 / 5 / 2018

Our trails are the best so far this year . Hats off to groomer operators , Carey , Paul and Paul, they did an amazing job this week with the new snow. I rode our system Sunday morning and RT 66 was flat. In town trails are also very good to Moosehead and Brassua lakes. Just a little info the Birches has not been grooming over Blue Ridge because of ice , it is way to dangerous for the operators, imagine sliding backwards or off the trail in a groomer . There are ways around the mountain so ask if not
