Hopefully snow Tuesday and again end of week . We will groom Tuesday if it snows . I know this seems early to talking about end of season but it has been strange weather this winter. TRAIL REPORT 3 / 3 /20

We made it thru 2 weeks of school vacation . Groomers where out almost every night, I know trails took a beating , but we did try to keep them smooth. The snow this year has been very difficult , it does not hold a groom very well, and Rockwood seems to be missing the jackpot when a storm does hit. I know surrounding areas have more snow than us and many have just roads to groom, which stay flatter longer. In town trails and woods trails do not have the snow base to dig in and flatten them out

TRAIL ETIQUETTE

This is about being conscious of what is going on behind you when snowmobiling. I think you should drive at your ability and no faster, but you should not hold others up that want to go faster. Example on Sunday we where riding Pittston Farm trails, very good conditions, we came up on 2 riders , looked like a husband and wife, we followed for a few miles and he pulled over and let us by, we gave a wave thanking as we went by. Now we come upon another couple with the wife leading going very slow ,5 mph

Please join a club if you haven’t yet, remember we need your support , but your membership does not make it snow , we are doing the best we can with what we

Groomers are going out Monday night and Birches is also going out so all trails in Rockwood will be groomed . please do some snow dances we need it . Keep in mind corners are very icy so please slow down and stay in control.
