Groomers were out last night on Blue Ridge Riders trails and Birches groomers were also out. Trails are all in great shape going into the weekend, we will be out Friday & Saturday grooming . Please watch out for drifts in the trails and use extra caution at all road crossings and trail intersections as snow banks are high and visibility is poor . Groomers are out, operators are reporting snow drifts so please be careful. Any open areas will have drifts even after groomer goes through. It is very hardtop see these drifts especially at night. Enjoy and be safe, pay attention to your surroundings , look in your mirrors !!!

Wow  what a great stretch for vacation weeks. Last week the weather was great , plenty of snow and plenty of people enjoying the Rockwood & Moosehead area. Wow there are people and sleds everywhere! Glad to see everyone up in Rockwood enjoying their vacation. We are doing our best to keep trails in excellent shape for you, The groomers will be out every night to fix in town trails , RT 66 will be groomed Monday , Wednesday, Friday, Saturday completely ,  Tuesday & Thursday will be groomed out to Demo road. Looks like 12-14 inches of snow is coming tonight & tomorrow. We are trying to get the groomers out early tomorrow morning to pack the snow but some of our operators have day jobs so that makes it difficult some times. We plan on being out Thursday, Friday and Saturday to keep RT 66 flat and smooth. We groomed Rt 66 to Jackman and Parlin trail at Mooseriver bridge at Demo rd. last night. Conditions are very good.We will be grooming in town again for the weekend, please be careful some rocks are starting to show again, need more snow.Getting good reports about the lake from fishermen.Depending on temperature we will be out again either Friday or Saturday night on our complete system. The season is here , trail work is getting under way , we are working on some water holes on RT 66 , trimming on Brassua trail .
